Wine branding for a unique batch of wines

BATCH WINERY IS SITED IN THE THOMAS ESTATE VINEYARDS ON WAIHEKE ISLAND. THE BOUTIQUE VINEYARD SPECIALISES IN SMALL-LOT WINES.

Batch owners commissioned Duffy to create the winery branding for the vineyard. The branding design work ranged from the coloured panels that wrap an exterior portion of the winery building through to the detail used on their labels.

The colours of the paneling form the basis of the design palette and range from the palest lemon-lime of the pinot-gris to the deep plum of the merlot.

Duffy also custom designed the font that is used in the label numbering. The font lines vary in weight to mimic bar coding. The premium Thomas and Son’s label features a slightly different digital dot and line coding design along with the stripes.
