Wayfinding design & custom wall art for Tauranga mall upgrade
BAYFAIR MALL IN MT MAUNGANUI IS THE SHOPPING MECCA OF THE BAY OF PLENTY. DUFFY WAS COMMISSIONED TO DESIGN CUSTOM WALL ART FOR THE PARENTS ROOM, A CORRIDOR MURAL DESIGN AND WAYFINDING DESIGN FOR THE AMENITIES AND THROUGHOUT THE SHOPPING MALL.
Taking reference from the fabric choices used in the new fit-out, the landscape and wildlife of the area, Duffy crafted giant pieces of custom wall art with a fresh colour palette. These custom mural designs were then reduced and replicated as wallpaper in the nappy changing area.
More recently Duffy re-designed the Wayfinding Signage for the Mall to create a more homogenous aesthetic for the interior.
